The world of dogs suffered a loss last week when Ch Zentarr Elizabeth passed away at the age of 12. Owned by Margaret Anderson, the Lhasa Apso was BIS winner of Crufts 2012 judged by Frank Kane, writes Lynn-Alexandria McKendrick Elizabeth was born on the 29th January 2005.

She was a beautiful dog who owned the show ring and was loved by Margaret and those who met her. Success came quickly for the pup when she qualified for Pup of the Year in 2005.

As time went on, Elizabeth had a successful career in the ring before she got her title in 2007. With 24 CCs under her collar, she won seven groups and then BIS at the British Utility Breeds in 2010 before going on to win the Eukanuba Champion Stakes Final in 2011.

In 2011, Elizabeth was awarded group 2 at Crufts before going on to win the prestigious BIS in 2012. There is no denying that this little dog had a fantastic show career and was adored by her family. Her legacy lives on in Ch Zentarr George who is the only pup Elizabeth produced, and has followed in his Mother's footsteps to be a very successful show dog.
