This year I decided to travel to Birmingham to watch the Junior handling competition and it was a very wise idea - I enjoyed every second of it and, as always, memories from the past came back to me.
WELL, THAT was a good one, wasn’t it? My 29th Crufts (I know that’s just a short time compared to some!) but I think it was one of the busiest I’ve seen in a while; in fact the Kennel Club Chairman Steve Croxford announced on Sunday night that just over 166,500 people came through the door!
The Annual Eurasia Dog Show, incorporating the RKF Cup took place across 23rd & 24th February. I was here on behalf of Our Dogs, the International Media Partner of The Russian Kennel Federation’s famous annual event taking place in a cold and snowy Moscow.
A special thanks must go to the Secretary, Mr Frank Borg, for looking after me over the weekend and putting on a very well-run friendly show. It was a real pleasure to judge here and evaluating a complete new set of dogs.
