On Monday with two days to go before the closing of entries on Wednesday of this week, ENCI (the Italian Kennel Club) gave some details of the entries received to date for the 2015 FCI World Dog Show in Milan.
The show will be held from June 10th to 14th. ENCI says that: “The FCI World Dog Show is the most important dog show of the World and it comes back in Italy after 15 years.” The first official statistics released for the press, are that by Monday of this week 16,783 dogs had been entered for the FCI World Dog Show with 7,992 dogs entered at the club events surrounding the main show.
Over 300 breeds from 40 Countries have been entered and ENCI adds: “An incredible event, unmissable. From 10th to 14th June, Fiera Milano (Rho)”. By Monday of this week and still with two more entry day to go, those breeds which, had already attracted interim entries of over 200 dogs at the FCI World Dog Show were as follows:
Dachshunds – all varieties - 613, American Staffordshire Terriers - 322, Golden Retrievers - 314, Labrador Retrievers - 314, French Bulldogs - 306, Cane Corso - 261, Jack Russell Terriers - 254, Siberian Huskies - 236, Bulldogs - 211 and Cocker Spaniels - 201 OUR DOGS is the Media Partner of the FCI World Dog Show in Milan and will bring further news of the show in due course.
