Double International in Komárom

Two International Shows

On the 10th & 11th of October, two International Shows were held in Komarom, Hungary. Best in Show (Day 1) judged by Mrs Zsuzsanna Balogh, was the Black Puli, Ludas Matyi Pityke, bred and owned by Antal Ferenc from Hungary; Res BIS was the American Akita, bred by D. J. Killilea and owned by Nikita Ivin from Russia and Third was the Beagle, Absolutely Spotless Impet bred by T. M. Budkowscy and owned by Dejan Klajic from Serbia.



Best in Show (Day 2) judged by Cristian Stefanescu, was the Chihuahua, Matt Damon Dei Piccoli Basardi Longh, bred and owned by Aleksandra Zawadzka from Poland; Res BIS was the Cane Corso, Amberland Ryal Flash, bred and owned by Maria Demchenko from Latvia and Third was the American Cocker Spaniel, Layton Xayburry Moser Dog, bred by Linda Volarikova and owned by Linda Volarikova and Albina Nikolic (SK).
 

 

On a rainy weekend on the 10th and 11th of October, a Double International Show was held in Komárom, Hungary.It is usually lucky with the weather but this year is was cold, windy and overcast, but this is a risk you take with outside shows. There was a good entry, both days numbers of about 1,500. Saturday was a Crufts qualification and the Sunday was the Hungarian Derby Show.

The Derby show can only be won by a dog once in its lifetime, so is a special show to win. The dogs were judged in 29 rings. Besides the International Shows there were more club shows and a cross-breed show.

The Judges list consisted of six Kennel Club Presidents - Zaur Agabeyli, the Azerbajan President; Erodotes Neofytou, Cyprus President; Kamen Litov, Bulgarian President; Miodrag Vretenicic, Montenegro President; Cristian Stefanescu, Romanian President, Serghei Volinets, Moldova President and, of course the President of the Hungarian Kennel Club, Andras Korozs.

Also, not a President of a KC a from the UK, Paul Herding, a member of the Kennel Club. BIS on the first day was judged by Mrs Zsuzsanna Balogh, and she chose the Black Puli, Ludas Matyi Pityke, bred and owned by Antal Ferenc from Hungary.

BIS 2 was Redwitch Born This Day, an American Akita bred by D. J. Killilea, owned by Nikita Ivin from Russia, and Third was Absolutely Spotless Impet, a Beagle bred by T. M. Budkowscy, owned by Dejan Klajic from Serbia.

On the second day, BIS was judged by Cristian Stefanescu, and he chose Matt Damon Dei Piccoli Bastardi Longh, a Chihuahua bred and owned by Aleksandra Zawadzka from Poland. BIS 2 was Amberland Ryal Flash, a Cane Corso, bred and owned by Maria Demchenko from Latvia, and Third was Layton Xayburry Moser Dog, an American Cocker Spaniel, bred by Linda Volarikova, owned by Linda Volarikova and Albina Nikolic from Slovakia.
