Melanie chose UK & Aust Supreme Ch. Orobay Graceful Triumph for Best in Show. Entry 146. He is called "Trumpy" and is owned by Jane Millar and his breeder Rhonda Telfer. He is almost 9 years old. He lived in the UK 2 years ago for a year and was best of breed at Crufts while there. In the UK he was owned by well-known Beagle judges Jen Davies and Brian Foster and was handled by Brian.

He was handled to this win on Friday by Rhonda Telfer, his breeder. Runner up in Show was "Elie" who was Best in Show under David Craig UK, last Easter. She is Supreme Ch. Baldev Legally Blonde and is owned by Sue and Liberty Bownds and Elizabeth Stopford. She is 6 and a half years old.

Both dogs have won numerous best in shows at Specialty and All Breeds level. Both dogs have been awarded the title "Award of Merit" by the National Beagle Council (Australia) for their consistent wins in the show ring. It is interesting to note that Ellie's dam is an older sister of Trumpy.
