Champion of Champions 2013

THE Champion of Champions Show 2013 was held in Prague in the Czech Republic on the 25th January, 2014, with 155 Champions taking part.

There were 25 Judges on duty for the show, including Tamas Jakkel from Hungary, Linda Volarikova, Viera Staviarska and Vladimir Piskay, all from Slovakia.

The CKCS & KCS Breeders Club, Prague

I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of the Cavalier and King Charles Spaniel Breeders Club, Prague for inviting me to judge, King Charles, a breed I am so very close to and fond of.

The show took place in Chateau Sirin, near Prague, set in a lovely surrounding venue with picturesque views.

Brno International & National Show

The DuoCacib Brno, organised by the Czech Moravian Kennel Club, took place on the first weekend in February. The Best in Show on Saturday, judged by Vaclavik Miroslav, went to the Schnauzer (Pepper-Salt), Ave Concord Magnifique and Sundays BIS, judged by Ridarcikova Gabriele (SK), went to the Landseer, Arun Z Laderova both from the Czech Republic.

With a few more than 8,000 dogs over the two days the entry was quite comparable with the year before.

Champion of Champions '12

The traditional Champion of Champions contest in the Czech Republic was held in Prague on January 14th. All Champion dogs can enter the show and this year there were 200 dogs for this prestigious event.

Czech Republic - Border Collie Club

The club held its annual championship in Brno an historic town 210 kilometres East of Prague on Saturday 24th September 2011. Peter Bailey judged the dogs & Peggy Bailey judged the bitches then both together for the Finals.

Champion of Champions in ZadarBest in Show at the Champion of Champions in Zadar, Croatia on the 30th April was the Maltese, Cinecitta’ Ian Somerhalder handled by Javier Gonzalez Medikote and owned by Franco Prosperi. Reserve Best in Show was the Rough Collie, Multi BOG Ch Thunderclap Alex handled by Denis Sabolic.
