SUPREME BEST IN SHOW at THE DOG EXPO NITRA 2019 was judged by Judith V. Daniels (USA) and she chose the American Staffordshire Terrier, ATTACKS OF LOVE SPLANETY ZVEZD, bred by A. I. Grigorievyh and owned by Valeriya Golubeva, (RU) as her winner.
The most prestigious show weekend in Slovakia, was won by the American Staffordshire Terrier, Attacks Of Love Splanety Zvezd, bred by A. I. Grigorievyh and owned by Valeriya Golubeva.

Nitra double show to end 2014

The end of the Slovak dog show season was the double show weekend on the last weekend of November, the 29th and 30th. Saturday was the Winner Show and Sunday the Slovak Cup Show. The entries were good for both shows, 2,450 and 2,239.  The organisation of both shows was good, but some rings could have been bigger (as at many shows), but there was enough space for dogs, exhibitors, visitors and trade stands. Trencin CACIB Show

THE first International Show of 2013 in Slovakia was held on the 26th & 27th January in the small city of Trencin, which is 130 kilometres to the north of Bratislava in the Valley of the Vag River. Trencin has a small exhibition centre with 4 or 5 small halls. Entry numbers were good with nearly 2,000 dogs. Groups 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 were judged on Saturday; and Groups 2, 3, 4…

The Slovak Bobtail, Bearded Collie and Border Collie Special CAC Club Show was held on 24th November 2012. It was an honour and pleasure for me to be invited to judge this clubs show. The Club covers just the three breeds, expecting an entry of 50-60 dogs, all were delighted with the entry of 75 dogs - 37 Border Collies, 24 Bearded Collies and 14 Bobtails. The National Show

The National Show in Slovakia (organised by the Slovakian Kennel Club) took place recently in Nitra. Out of an entry of just under 2000, the Best in Show judge Dr Vladimar Piskay selected the Ovtcharka as the winner. The dog was bred by Roman Anton and is owned by Miroslav Luptak from Slovakia.
