Westminster 2019 Best In Show was awarded to the Wire Fox Terrier, GCHB Ch Kingarthur Van Foliny Home. The eight-year-old star is owned by Victor Malzoni Junior and was bred by R De Munter & D Uiterwijk. He was piloted to his success by ace handler, Gabriel Rangel.
The 143rd Best in Show Winner at the Westminster Dog Show 2019 was awarded to the "King" the Wire Fox Terrier, GCHB Ch Kingarthur Van Foliny Home. The eight-year-old star is owned by Victor Malzoni Junior and was bred by R De Munter & D Uiterwijk & was piloted to his success by ace handler, Gabriel Rangel.


A glowing tribute from the American dog fancy to Mrs Dodge – in the form of 4,456 dogs entered at this year’s Madison event. This mark eclipses Crufts’ highest figure and without any doubt establishes Morris and Essex as the world’s greatest dog show.” Of course, this review of the show was written in 1939. Crufts has continued to grow and prosper, with current entries in excess of 20,000. 


At the Baltimore County KC on April 19th, the Best of Winners was the Jack Russell Terrier, BIS Ch Granlasco A Beautiful Mind, owned by Jongkie Budiman, bred by the Granlasco Kennel, conditioned by Alice Varchi and handled by Ernesto Lara.


At the Poodle Club of America Specialty last week, Best in Show from the Best of Varieties went to the Toy, Smash JP Beauty And Beat, owned by Mizuki Murakami, bred by Toshi Omura from Japan. Other winners included Best of Variety Std Poodle...


Best of Breed was Treis Pineiros Buenos Sera handled by Angela Lloyd and owned & bred by Carlos Pedroso and Patricia Romanelli Pedroso


4,518 dogs were entered for the USA's most prestigious show, the AKC/ Eukanuba Championships held in Orlando, Florida on 13th/14th December where BIS received a cash prize of £50,000.  Best in Show, judged by Ron Meneker, was the Skye Terrier, Grand Ch. Cragsmoor Good Time Charli, owned by Victor Malzoni, andleerd bu Larry Cornelius and bred by Zaphiris and Stander.


The climax of the 138th Westminster Dog Show saw seven superb dogs enter the arena in Madison Square Garden to be judged by Ms Betty Regina Leininger, supremely elegant in an emperor purple evening gown, before an extremely animated audience. They consisted of an Irish Water Spaniel, Portuguese Water Dog, Bloodhound, Standard Poodle, Wire Fox Terrier, Cardigan Welsh Corgi & Miniature Pinscher.
