International Show, Salzburg Featured

Written by

THE International dog show was held in Salzburg again, on 27th & 28th April, after one skipping year when the Salzburg city was a host of World dog show 2012.

One of the oldest dog shows in Europe is organised by one of the oldest local Kennel Clubs in Austria (the first show was 1912!). It is interesting to note that the Club was led by an Austrian legend, a well-know all round judge Mrs Steffi Kirschbichler since 1973, and her equal known daughter, a judge herself Mrs Heidi Kirschbichler  took over later on.

The show has been placed in the famous new hall of Salzburg fair with over 1700 dogs entered in two days. The popularity of the show has been seen also in numerous trade stands. It is also very convenient for visitors because the fair is in the middle of this gorgeous Austrian city. The event was smoothly organised by the local Club in cooperation with OKV; and as all shows in Austria, without any visible problem, with nice friendly staff with a lot of charm as always, who welcomed everyone.

We really enjoy it.

We truly hope that the next year they will organise Double CACIB!

With people like they are, with the fantastic place and beautiful historic city as a backdrop we are more than sure that many of you will find the reason to come at this lovely event!
