Royal Fox Terrier Club of Belgium
The club received its predicate “Royal” in 1929. Falaën, a small village in the Ardennes, east of Charleroi and South of Namur, was the place to be on Saturday, 28 of July, for 139 Fox Terrier fanciers. And they came from no less than thirteen different countries.
This show deserves to be called an International show. Exhibitors came from as far as Sweden, Holland, France, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Russia, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Poland, the UK and Belgium of course. Mr Malcolm Murray and Mr Andrew Goodsell, both from the UK, were invited to judge. Mr Murray judged the 103 Smooths while Mr Goodsell had 36 Wire Haireds. Mrs Margareth Hugues was granted the honour of judging Best In Show, which she gave to theWire Fox Terrier, Ch Crispy Legacy (pictured above), a five year old male, entered in Champion Class and bred and showed by Mr Agneta Astrom from Sweden.
