Best in Show at Eindhoven 2019 was the Whippet, Creme Anglaise’s Eat My Dust, owned by J. W. Akerboom-van der Schaaf and K. van der Schaaf-Akerboom. Group Judge was Mr Koppens (NL) and BIS Judge was Mr Schogol (GE).
The first International Dog Show of 2019 in the Netherlands was held on February 1-3 in Eindhoven, also know as the city of light because of the history with the Philips company.

The Best in Show winner at the WORLD DOG SHOW in Amsterdam was the Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen, Frosty Snowman, owned and handled by Gwen Huikeshoven from Holland. AMSTERDAM RISES TO THE CHALLENGE Writes Vince Hogan Last weekend was an incredibly busy time for the international world of dogs with one particular canine hotspot being the Amsterdam Rai, home of the Amsterdam Winner Show and now the Eukanuba World Challenge And Amsterdam really did rise to that challenge! 


Best in Show on Day 1 in Bleiswijk was the Scottish Terrier, Ayrzol Ozone, owned by L. Ayrzol. Best in Show Judge was Norman Deuschmere from Belgium. Best in Show on Day 2 in Bleiswijk was the Golden Retriever Dutchtab V.d. Beerse Hoeve, owned by M. P. Gerritsen. Best in Show Judge was Rui Oliveira from Portugal.


Best in Show (Saturday) in Rotterdam at the double show was the Bearded Collie, Beardie Connections Kenji, owned by M. C. H. B. Otto. BIS Judge was Ole Staunskjaer from Denmark. Best in Show (Sunday) in Rotterdam at the double show was the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, Caramel Apple v. Tum-Tum’s Vriendjes, owned by G. M. Huikeshoven from the Netherlands. BIS Judge was Mrs Ineke Zwaartman-Pinster.


The Amsterdam Winners Show was this year the host for the Eukanuba World Challenge at the same time as celebrating the 125th Winner Show Anniversary.  From the reaction of many of the contestants, exhibitors, and guests it was clear that both shows achieved great success, despite the fact that their joining together only really came to be in the last few months.


Affenpinscher ‘Tricky Ricky’ wins EWC 2014 in Amsterdam   Amsterdam, December 2014 -The Eukanuba World Challenge 2014 came to a stirring finale on Saturday evening, December 13th, in Amsterdam’s RAI Centre before a packed international crowd.  From a stunning field of 12 finalists BIS judge Jorgen Hindse, FCI Europe President and President of the Danish Kennel Club, selected ‘Ch. Tricky Ricky from Yarrow Hi-Tech’,  the Affenpinscher male from Indonesia representing the World Dog Show 2014,…


Amsterdam Winner 2014 Best in Show was the Saluki, Qirmizi Ovation, owned by Nicklas Eriksson & Ingunn Solberg Eriksson from Sweden. 


On October 26th the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of the Netherlands held their Championship Club Show. There were 65 entries for BIS Judge, Hans van den Berg (pictured centre). BIS and Club Winner 2014 was the dog Trootlicks Donar Dexter (Kinvaar Son Of A Gun x Kinvaar Beek A Boo), owned by Dana Schuller-Kuijper (left in the picture).
