Best in Show at the Combined Canine Club National show on Easter Sunday at the National Show Centre was Stewart and Heather Cummings and Kelly Lawless’ Pointer male, the big winning Sh Ch/GB Sh Ch/ Int Sh Ch  Kanix Kroner at Sevenhills who was handled by Stewart. The soon to be elected President of the FCI, Dr Tamas Jakkel was the Best in Show judge. Mary Davidson of show sponsor Royal Canin is also pictured.
It’s not very often that a team dominate a double header all breed show weekend but that’s exactly what happened at the Combined Canine Club Easter Classic weekend in Dublin.


Best in Show at the Combined Canine Club International Easter Classic Championship show at the National Show Centre in Dublin was Stewart and Heather Cummings and Kelly Lawless’ Pointer male, the big winning Sh Ch/GB Sh Ch/Int Sh Ch  Kanix Kroner at Sevenhills who was handled by Stewart. Sylvie Desserne from France was the Best in Show judge and Mary Davidson represented sponsors Royal Canin in the photo presentations.
The Combined Canine Club Easter Classic spectacular kicked off on Easter Saturday at the National Show Centre in Dublin where a total of 1,423 dogs in breed class competition challenged for the spoils at the International event organised by the club’s hard working officers and committee.


The Irish kennel Club held their traditional two day international show last weekend at their show centre at Cloghran in Dublin. A number of top international judges from Portugal, Germany, Croatia etc officiated as well as a strong contingent of Irish judges.  


‘ROLY’ IS THE FESTIVE SAINT   It was back to the show ring for many after the Christmas festivities at the National Show Centre in Dublin on December 27th where there was an entry of 1,238 in competition classes for the panel of Irish judges to choose from. 


The Green Isle Hotel in Clondalkin on the west outskirts of Dublin once again played host to the Dublin Dog Show Society promotion Champion of Champions final on Saturday January 5th which saw the Champion Stakes class winners from 2012 come together to challenge for the overall title and to find an overall winner  The inimitable Hans Van Ben Berg was invited to travel from the Netherlands to judge the event and as always his…

THE ANNUAL Munster Circuit week of shows centred on the South West of Ireland once again attracted large numbers of exhibitors from around Ireland and the UK and this year there was also a sprinkling of overseas teams including some exhibitors from Germany.

HE HISTORICAL Dun Laoghaire Canine Society ! Monkstown Championship show took place as is tradition on theAugust Bank Holiday weekend and the venue was the National Show Centre in Dublin where just under 1,200 dogs challenged for the winning cards across breeds stakes classes, Obedience and Agility. 


The All Ireland Toy Dog Club Group 9 Championship show took place in Clonmel, County Tipperary last Sunday where Linda Mills and her team put on an excellent event in a relaxed atmosphere.
