Best in Show at the World Dog Show 2023, held in Geneva Switzerland, was the Portuguese Water Dog, Aquafortis Robel The One, owned by Runi Kristiansen and handled by Marta Flores (Portugal). Judging the finale was Mr Laurent Pichard (Switzerland).Also pictured is Tamas Jakkel (FCI President) (left).

Geneva 2019

The winner of Super BIS on Sunday at the Geneva International Shows was the OES from Hungary, Bottom Shaker The Greatest Picture, bred and owned by Jozsef Koroknai from Hungary and presented by Zsolt Hanó. BIS Judge was Gerardo A. Paolucci from Argentina.
Geneva is the second largest city in Switzerland after Zürich and it was here that the greatest dog show in Switzerland was held.

In this day and age when clubs are trying hard to reinvent themselves in every which way, to compete for declining exhibitor numbers, the team at the Geneva dog show headed by Laurent Pichard and Barbara Muller should give themselves a pat on the back for a job well done.

Best in Show at the on Sunday November 16th in Geneva was the Wirehaired Dachshund, Dolce Fontana Di Trevi owned by Annaluce Saletti, handled by Javier Mendikote. The Breed & Group Judge was Attila Czeglédi and the BIS Judge was Nicolas De Bedout Sknar (Left). Also pictured are the Joint Show Organisers, Laurent Pichard and Barbara Muller.

The jewel in the crown of the European Dog Show in Geneva proved to be the Scottish Terrier, Filisite Brash Koh-I-Noor, owned and bred by Valentina Popova from Russia. Topping the lot out of 8,000 dogs in Switzerland, the Scottie had been sent through from the breed by well known Swedish judge Dan Ericcson, the Group by former AKC Chairman Ron Menaker and then taking the ultimate award from Switzerland’s famous Hans Muller, now retired…
