At the Munster Canine Association Championship show in Fermoy, David McKenna of the Davdeir Bouviers selected Olive Taylor's Chow Chow male Cladev's Starstruck with Taylorian as the Puppy Stakes winner and qualifier for the Combined Canine GAIN Pup of the Year 2012 Final to be held next Easter.


Newtownards and District Canine Club's annual Championship under Irish Kennel Club rules event took place at the Ard's Rugby Club in Northern Ireland last Sunday where the team and the exhibitors battled the elements which made it a difficult day for all involved due to the high winds which hit the area over the weekend.


The Irish Kennel welcomes all UK and European exhibitors. Two All Breed Championship Shows take place later this Summer: The International Show with CACIB & Green Star awards on 27th August and National Show with Green Stars on 28 August 2011.
 


The Dundalk and District Canine Club 65th Championship show really had it all this year at the carpet like grounds of the Marist College. There’s no doubt that Harry O’Donoghue brings his great experience and knowledge to bare at the event in it’s organisation and running.
 


There was a very International feel to the Group winners at Navan Dog Show, topping Group 1 was the American bred OES, "Ch & Am.Ch Lambluv's Live The Dream" owned by Colm & Rose Hastings, taking Group 2 was the well known Newfoundland bred in Switzerland...
